Standard US resume target?

Paste your actual bullets — full sentences, not keyword lists.
US resumes rarely exceed 6-8 bullets total. Quality over quantity.
Aim for 1 number per bullet — percentage improvement, dollar value, time saved, count of users.
Avoid weak openers ('helped', 'worked on'). Strong openers demonstrate ownership.

How many bullets per role?

4-6 for recent roles, 2-3 for older ones. Recruiters spend 6-8 seconds on initial scan.

Should I use first-person?

No — drop the 'I'. US resumes are telegraphic: 'Led team of 4 to ship in 3 weeks', not 'I led the team...'.

Is a longer resume ever better?

For consulting / IB target roles, 1.5 pages is borderline accepted. For most industries, 1 page hard limit.
